📷 GEAR REVIEW VIDEOS 📷

This is my ultra comfort gear list for 2021! The weight of my pack on this trip, not including food and water, was about 16 lbs! You could shave a bit of weight if camping in warmer temperatures and easily have a pack weight under 30lbs for a 3-4 day trip.

I much prefer the term ultracomfort over ultralight...I think I have discovered my style of backpacking...kudos good sir...I love the Canadian Rockies...have spent many a summer up in BC...been to long...I need to get back that way soon.

Balancing comfort and necessity is the name of the game in backpacking. Great video as always Justin.

Don't believe I've seen the puffy rolled into the rain jacket trick? That's a good idea. Thank you

after looking and finally finding a small rechargeable lantern that also has orange/pinkish spectrum besides the bright white, i realized its still too bright for my tastes.

i put my lanterns in my sleeping bag’s green sack now and hang it from my cross pole outside the door, or put it above me in the tent.

it’s a nice green orb that puts you to sleep or makes for a good homing beacon, and the bugs don’t seem to be attracted.

i love it.

I have the same puffy from Decathalon! It actually stuffs into one of its own pockets and zips with the double zipper, so you can get it even more compact

For a budget chair, I purchased the REI Flexlite Air. Normally $99, was on sale for $70. Like the Helinox also 1lb. Actually, looks the same but the legs are rotated 90degrees.

I'm happy to live in Norway. I get the same climate and beautiful landscape, minus the bears! I would be terrified!

Dude, the beginning of the video I spotted that Pringles can! 👊 I don't know why, but it's one of the best backpacking snacks!

I envy your snow. It's already unbearably hot and humid here in Toronto 😩

Great video! I’m not sure about the bear bag. Maybe the bear can’t tear it but it will chew everything inside into a pulp, cut the cord or the branch and run for it!
