"I'll take things that never happened for $100 Alex".

Tesla owners have to make up stories involving their Tesla so they can continue to bring up the fact that they own a Tesla.

I work as a buyer at a dealership. I can tell you for sure that this guy is hiding something. First thing I can see here is this Tesla is wrapped. Dealers do not like wrapped cars. Two possible scenarios- number one - they changed their mind after he left because they got scared what could be under the wrap or they made a stupid high offer and they backed out. Number 2- he was really there to buy that Dodge but because the things did not go his way he is trashing the dealership. Moral of the story- if somebody gives you a good offer for your car do not leave and take it right away.

He wouldn’t have sold it. His whole personality would have disappeared.

You deserve it for tapping the charging cable on the rear light ...

The moral of the story is don't tell stories.

I SWEAR TO GOD, IF I'M GONNA SEE ANY TESLA OWNER TAP THAT LIGHT, I'M GONNA GO ABSOLUTELY MAD.

You better watch out.

The proper response isn't "I don't want to buy a Challenger for $50k over sticker." It is "I don't want to buy a Challenger for any price."

I worked for many different car dealerships over the years as a service technician and have NEVER and will NEVER buy a car from a dealership. All my cars have been used straight from the original or second owner with all maintenance records on hand. Most dealerships screw over their customers a lot of times without them even realizing it... Sad but true story.

They only wanted your car because they had a customer that was looking for one and that probably fell through

Like real estate agents telling you they have buyers waiting if you just sign up and list your house with them right now. Then it takes 3 months to sell and they want to keep dropping the price.

I'll take "BS I Saw on the Internet" for $500 please

There are two morals of the story... never go to dealerships (I'm so happy I own a Tesla too) and, most important, STOP TAPPING THE DAMN CHARGER ON YOUR REAR LIGHT. You are scratching it.

A lot of dealerships are starting not to buy Teslas or take them as trade-ins. Reason being is the battery. They've had to replace very expensive batteries lately.

Never make deals with a dealership. They will ALWAYS try to scam you.

Never trust a dealership under any circumstances. I've lived a lot of life. When you need to buy a car, the dealer is always your enemy, your adversary only trying to get more money out of you by tricking you. The biggest trick is to make you wait for hours to get you tired and weaken your judgment so they can sell you extras you don't need. Sometimes they'll add a couple of thousand dollars in junk charges in a long itemized list that some people don't see and think they're supposed to pay. Yes, it's like giving them a $2000 gift because you trusted them..

"60 IN 2" plate should be swapped for "ILUVBBC". Tesla owners are the worst.

I have no idea of the law in the USA but here in Germany, you could sue them if they already agreed to buy the car. if there were clearly communicated interests from both sides, there was formed a "verbal agreement" (I don't know if that is the correct term in English). As long as you didn't do anything to break that verbal agreement, you could sue them in Germany and most likely win.
