I discovered that I was too impatient to do mud 😂. But it was because I grew up using it straight out of the bucket. Once I made myself start mixing water in it, it was so much better and easier to work with.

I’m a level 5 finisher with 50+ yrs experience. 24” wide on a butt joint that’s ok for texture…level 4 . I use a 48” feather edge. On wood framing you need check to see if butt is hollow or crowned between studs to left and right before applying mud, this level 5 tool might save the amateur finisher some sanding, but will not flatten out a butt, , , it’s just a tight skim..lol

I can't believe you put this on youtube, I can't believe how much drywall dust is everywhere. Fortunately it's not in the form of dust because you really don't need to sand that. Beautiful work, amazing talent and skills

Love these 24 and 36 inch blades. I have both they get regular use 👍❤ Level 5 is a great company too—I dropped my 24" off a high ladder and dinged the blade. I was able to order a replacement easy peasy and it came quickly

I did all the framing but whenever we had to fix drywall to match the framing, hated it ! This brings me joy to watch but reminds me all of the hard work everyone does on the construction site !!!

I just started using the level 5 blades and I'ma not going to lie they produce a very nice finished product. Especially on metal corner bead where the carpenters just slapped it up and now it has become my problem. A good 20 inch spread keeps the floor trim and the drop ceiling track full and flat for the pickier contractors. If you know then you know.
