I eat vegetables with every meal

My typical veggies are spinach, romain, carrots, celery

I think you should eat them as often as you can

It's not bad. It's just high glycemic so the sugar hits you blood fast.

Apples, oranges, berries, strawberries are really good.

Hi there. Love the effort. I eat greenbeans and corn(frozen or on the cobb when its in season) as many as 3 times a week for dinner. I've recently taken to eating cheap box meals with a small portion of corn, mashed potatoes and a salsbury steak or grilled chicken. They add up to about 420~calories for the entire meal and are good for one meal of the day. I like it. I was wondering, what do you think about the weightwatchers methods or about counting calories in general?

The Obesity rate in America is > 30 percent.
The obesity rate in Germany is is 13 percent. The obesity rate in France is 9.4 percent.

The obesity rate in the USA and the overweight rate in the USA doubled in the last 10 years. Genomes don't change in 10 years.

(From Germany) every meal basically -> Onions, leek or tomatoes
I dont like to cook so i just eat them with salt.
I dip them into little bot of salt and eat this with something else (this are basically toppings).

And then i eat every 2 days or so fruits etc. depends on what is for sale like bananas for 1$ per kg (kinda 2 pounds) or apples, peaches, tangerines, kaki etc.
Its always depends on the season -> this means i eat too much tangerines in autumn/winter and peaches in...spring/summer (? i forgot) and so on.

You should probably eat vegetables if you want to.
I mean the body signalizes if you need something like vitamines and stuff.

Keep the videos coming Natalie, they are great.

I eat tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, onions, and zucchini/ butternut squash out of my garden every day. I make my own salsa and marinara sauce from what I grow, with basil and cilantro from the garden too, and I like to add the zucchini to my marinara sauce..

By the way, a tomato fresh from the garden is much better than one from the store.

I am currently now on my second year of dieting, and these videos about how americas fat, we need to slim it down, the videos about comparing us to the usual japenese diet, this has all helped me a ton to keep up my diet and get new ideas on how to reshape the way I think about food. Keep it up!

I eat vegetables at least once a day, and will vary it, between fruits and vegetables. I often eat meals devoid of protein, but will then eat a serving or two of protein. I try to regulate it more often than that, though, and am pursuing a high fiber diet. Also, I think you're supposed to eat five servings of veggies a day. I'm not sure if it's five fruits AND five veggies, or five servings all together, but I try to get plenty of variety.

I eat a lots of vegetable during the day, like carrot, celery, spinach, lettuce, potatoes, broccoli, cucumber. I'll like to eat even more during the day but I want them to taste good. Any suggestions?

I'm from Germany. In my family, almost every lunch contains vegetables, and we also try to have salad with every dish (average 1 head of lettuce for 4 persons). In the evening we often have some kind of cold meal with bread, sausage/ham, cheese etc. and depending on the season we eat tomatoes, cucumbers, radish, salad, marinated vegetables (fried in vinegar).

Not true, Norway has a high gross domestic product per capita than the USA and only 8 percent obesity rate.

Japan has the second highest gross domestic product in the world and only a 3 percent obesity rate.

So affluent counties have far less obesity than the USA.

My plate used to be piled high with starches and meats and fat but there wasn't a single vegetable in sight. But now I've been trying to change my life for the last year and have so far lost 70 lbs and I try my hardest to eat at least 2 servings of vegetables a day, though I know I should really be getting at least 3-5. My most eaten veggies are onions, red/green/orange bell peppers, spinach, asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, green beans, squash, and peas.

Try to eat at least once a day. Mostly lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumber.

I understand I should eat around 5 vegetables a day
