Went from 105 kg to 69 kg in 2 years with IF. Started to workout after 1 year. I'm in year 12 of my diet and 11 years workout. Now I'm stable at 80 kg with 15-17% BF, and quite good amount of muscle.

At three meals a day (no snacks) most humans are over eating. Every time you eat, your body produces Insulin. Insulin is a hormone that has two functions, after it has moved sugar from the bloodstream into cells;
1. To extract and store excess sugar, in the bloodstream, as fat.
2. To prevent the body from accessing stored body fat.
That second point is the key to losing excess body fat. Only by not eating can you prevent the release of Insulin into the body. Furthermore, it takes up to thirteen hours of not eating for the body to clear itself of Insulin. Only then does the body go into Ketosis, where the body starts accessing stored body fat.

Body fat isn't necessarily evil. it's purpose is so you can walk from point A to B at a distance without food. It's simply a fridge for the body to survive on when food is scarce. it's the overeating that's dangerous
