Can we take a moment to appreciate how good the krebs cycle animation was, and the beautiful rendition of the skeleton, organs, blood vessels, muscles and the fat tissue on that painting? Props to the animators/artists.

it's ironic that we are literally killing ourselves by having become so good at surviving.

I'd like to point out how everyone is in love with the art and music in this video but in the U.S there is little respect for those of us that decide to pursue the arts as a career. This is a great example of how the arts go hand in hand with the sciences to create an amazing learning experience. Think about how boring this video would have been without all the beautiful art in it. Respect your local artist and PAY THEM!

Back then fat was for the rich.
Now fat is for the poor.

This makes a lot of sense to me. At 5'5", I went from nearly 200 lb to 130 lb. My body is apparently optimized to best operate at a certain weight because I can now move freely have much more available energy, and am not suffering the effects of Type-II Diabetes to the extent I was.

Great video, super well made, but I was also expecting some sort of historical explanation as to why and when we started hating it.

This is somewhat humbling and comforting to someone who’s dealt with body image issues, it’s really sweet to see how our body works so hard and needs every little thing we have inside of us❤️

I generally don't comment on YouTube videos but I felt compelled to do so here, I'm a recovering anorexic and this video was really well put together and incredibly informative. I felt like it gave me a whole new perspective on myself and how humans look at things in general. The animations and editing were really beautiful as well, I'm grateful I got to watch this
