No surprise at all. This film seems to have so much heart and respect for it's legacy characters, both from Fox and the MCU. The movie could've easily been action, Deadpool humour, and action but it's got so much depth judging from everyone I've talk to about the film.

While I am still reserving judgement, this specific franchise both historically and tonally has been antithetical to what the rest of the MCU has been doing. So this latest edition sounds like it could be for the MCU what Andor was for Star Wars, as in entertainingly successful despite the best efforts on the corporate a-holes trying to destroy what we have loved for so long.

The film Deadpool and Wolverine will be the film that has paid tribute to the characters that have had a global impact, due to the great affection they had at Fox. Now in the MCU. It's crazy. It looks like it won't disappoint anyone and will be a long-awaited display of enjoyment and a great, beautiful story that our mutants are already home!!!

For those that havent seen this movie yet, I'll say this, it was like going to an ice cream shop to get two of your favorite flavors, and as you are enjoying it, the ice cream man shoves another flavor in your mouth and you are in heaven! As you are enjoying that, he shoves another flavor in your mouth, then another, and another! You'd think you would be full, but you just end up wanting more flavors....and you get it! Damn good movie! 9.5 out of 10! 👍🏽
