This felt like a love letter to fans who loved pre-MCU comic book movies.

The movie was 100% what I wanted from the movie. I understand it's not "perfect" but fuck it I absolutely loved it.

Hugh's performance in the car scene definitely wowed me.

Watching the film, you got the feeling some of the villains were always trying to ice skate uphill.

The little kids at my screening definitely learned a few new words during the post-credits scene.

The film is basically a send-off of what the non-Disney superhero films used to be, and I think it’s best understood through that lens. It’s not a movie so much as a big memorial to the Fox-era of Marvel.

Disney is gonna make Doug do these reviews until he's 90....

The finale with Logan saying he was proud of the suit was so emotional and beautiful. Hugh is such a great talent. I hope this movie’s success lets him show up in more dramas and finally snag that Oscar, because he is underrated as an actor, in my opinion. The only person in Hollywood who can do a rom com, action movie, drama, musical, and Broadway and sell you on all of it. He’s so versatile.

This movie felt like Fox’s way of saying both “thank you” and “fuck you” to Disney and I love it for that.

The last 8 years of constant apocalypses is worth it to see Jackman berserker rage in costume.

I mean, Wade is supposed to be on a slump in this movie.
Him not being as quirky without the mask makes sense, imho.

I personally think this movie is actually much smarter and more beautiful than I realized. This isn’t just a Deadpool Wolverine movie with a lot of cameos, it’s actually one final hurrah to the marvel fox movies.

I still remember bringing my dad to see the first Deadpool movie. He didn’t really want to be there, he thought it was just gonna be some silly superhero movie…
To this day, it’s still his favorite Marvel movie.

Imagine if they brought in Nick Cage as Ghost Rider

At that point Nick Cage would be the only actor to guest star in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Flash & Deadpool and Wolverine, three different comicbook franchises that have multiverse plotlines

The scene with Wolverine in the Car was actually incredible. Like that moment in the movie actually shook me, it felt like it stopped being a movie and became real in that moment. Hugh Jackman is a Phenomenal actor, he absolutely gave everything in that scene

This director is going to make a Star Wars film. Man, Shawn Levy has really climbed up the ladder. Doing family comedies like Cheaper by the Dozen, Big Fat Liar, and Night at the Museum, to Stranger Things, Free Guy, and now this.
