My brother and sister-in-law are in North Carolina. I have no idea where they are. This is absolute tragedy. My prayers for everyone.

Honey, I have been right where you are. We are in Michigan. I just spoke with my husband. We have 7 acres where we could host someone who is able to rent a camper or has a 5th wheel or something. We have a stocked pond and walking trails. I just don't know how to help and that's all I can do right this minute. If you or if you know of anybody that needs a place to park for free.

I am so sorry. Unless you've been through something like this, it's impossible for others to understand. I lost everything due to flooding in 2016. It felt like watching the world end.... like it was something fictional out of a movie. I am glad you and your fur baby are safe.

Stay strong. I lost my home during Hurricane Wilma, then 10 years later through a divorce. God is faithful. He is capable of restoring all things. Call upon His name. I believe (In my life) that the Lord took everything away so that I could realize that all I need his Him. I will stop and pray for you now.

Not the same exactly, but during my divorce I lost my house, everything and I became homeless. I had a very vindictive husband. I slept in my explorer in a parking lot and it broke down so not running. No family here. You WILL survive and rebuild! It can and will be done! Prayers for you, and take one day at a time. Jesus will help you as well, turn to Him for comfort He will show you the way. Some things happen for reasons we won’t understand until much later. 🙏🙏🙏
