3 stalks lemongrass
7 lime leaves
thumb-sized root of galangal
10 chilis
chili paste to taste
3 tbsp fish sauce
juice from 4 limes

1 tbsp chili paste
1 1/2 tbsp fish sauce
1 1/2 limes juiced

I had such a blast with this game but I was always a big fan of Bethesda games so I knew what to expect going into it. I really hope they make another installment and given the success of this one, I'm sure they will. On another note Tom Yum Goong was surprisingly good I may have to try the Cacio e Pepe from the Vatican next.

I went to an Asian market in my city to get ingredients and they had a Tom Yum starter kit with lemongrass, Thai chilies, and galangal. I made this and gave some to my friend at work. I saw her eating it and asked how she liked it. She poured the rest of the broth in her mouth and said, "That was delicious."

Last shrimp stock I made I blended all the shells after beeing "toasted" and simmered for 10mn.
After filtering the taste was really stronger than without blended and be sure to NOT add salt because I did like previous stocks and it was too salty, but the taste!

It's TWO tbs fish sauce and juice from THREE limes.

Fun fact: there's two versions in Thailand. One is a massive spicy and savory poaching liquid used to cook the shrimp and noodles (bug chunks of aromatics) that you don't drink like a soup
And then there's a tamer version meant to be sucked down completely
