Dude that was way easier than trying to get the choke out of an uncooked artichoke! I was scraping forever!

“Lets get the choke out”
So does that just make it an arti?

My aunt used to fix these for party's with a garlic lemon butter dipping sauce. Loved them.

This is always how I remembered eating them! Haven’t had it in like 20 years. Thanks for this!

The heart of an artichoke is one of my favorite parts

That looks awesome. My grandma would also put bread crumbs in the leaves and bake them. They were always delicious. That’s an awesome way to take out the bad part of the heart I’ll have to remember that

We used to make them different when I was a kid. We’d boil them whole and peel off each leaf and dip the good part into either butter or lemon juice and eat it like that. Once we got to the hairy bits we’d scrape it out with a spoon. My favorite part was always the stems.

I never thought of splitting them like that. Definitely makes it easier to cook. Getting the chock out that way is much easier than taking it out after parboiling. Thanks for all the tips.

So elegant Kevmo. I love it. ♥️

That chunk you pulled out is usually the only part of an artichoke that I eat.

I made these tonight. The choke came out just as easily as the video! And the taste was insanely good. I was always intimidated by cooking artichokes but this process made it easy. I whipped up some garlic aïoli sauce to serve with the artichokes and it was amazballs. I highly recommend this recipe!

This looks awesome. I always enjoy your videos, I often learn new tips like this one. I never really cook artichokes so seeing preparations of them helps me expand my repertoire. Thank you!
