I actually have a lot of my shoe-care products sitting on the shelves of my desk in my home office. I find they make good decorations to fill in those empty spaces that are too small for a lot of things to really be practical. The jars of renovateur and cream polishes in particular I find quite visually appealing.

This a good basic kit.. I have a cheaper kit (Kiwi Products) at home I got at thrift store.. the nice part of the kit is that it's vintage from 1950s.. Overtime I will upgrade the kit to this level

I really hate to wear my Alden or Church shoes in the rain but sometimes it's unavoidable. Do you recommend wearing protection over the shoes? How should I care for shoe (sole and upper) once home after walking in the rain?

Hey Kirby, can you help me out on these style questions?
How can I make black shoes look interesting? I always find myself uncomfortable wearing them and stick to cognac or dark brown. Black shoes always seem so detached from the rest of my looks and boring. I wear navy and charcoal suits with silver accessoires, if that helps you to help me :-)

How to combine forest green pants? I like them a lot and often wear them with white shirts and brown or bordeaux shoes, but what socks fit in there? Whatever I try it looks off.
