I treat my staff the same way, but most people try to take advantage of my kindness as if it were weakness.

There is no "one size fits all" answer in business. Every valuable staff member needs to be treated as an individual and have their needs individually tailored.

Most boss always wanted their employees to be initiative whereas the expectation is not clear and wanted employees to put themselves in the boss shoes. Whereas always wanted them to invest effort more but sometimes the boss seldom invest more in them.
