For many vaginal health can seem like a mystery. Uncertainty on how to properly care for your reproductive organs can cause repeat infections, shame / guilt and more.

Getting regular screenings to ensure your reproductive organs were working properly is a good preventative step in caring for your vagina.

I can't stress enough how important it is to use condoms. Your vagina has its own ph balance, which can easily be disrupted by bacteria, semen, or infections. Cut down on those possibilities (the the possibility of a unwanted pregnancy) by using condoms as part of your vaginal health routine.

Movement and a good diet do more for our bodies than we know. Our body is what we eat and this goes for our reproductive organs as well.

And finally, vaginas are a naturally cleansing organs. It does not need scented washes, soaps or fragrances. Your vagina should have a smell. Not a bad smell, but a smell nonetheless. That is completely normal. And I can promise you, it is not supposed to smell like roses or lavender. Not necessary to use more than water to wash.

The same goes for the lubes you choose. Using water based lubricants only ensures proper vaginal health.
