I'm 61 years old, and watching these tests makes me think of the decades of my life that I spent traveling in terribly unsafe cars, which fortunately I survived OK. But it used to be normal that whole families would be killed in their car in a single catastrophic crash.

Fun Fact: SAAB got in trouble a few years back for using actual human corpses instead of dummies, but to really think about it, the results would've been more accurate

A common problem seems to be the drivers head missing or side swiping the air bag. An elongated bag design might help.

For the very first test it did seem like it was that bad for the driver, the airbag actually protected the dummy and no glass got on it

Anyone else notice that the cars had different labels on them then what the video said... the actual nissan leaf was the fourth car, not the third, read the label on the left side of the car... so nissan leaf is actually good and the nissan juke (which was said to be the nissan leaf) did a terrible job so... i just disproved everything you said about the nissan leaf :)
