What I like most about Prep is that their songs are not the "sellout" ones that you can hear on every radio stations. Only few selected individuals know how good the band is.

Gave me that 80's bleeding into 90's feels. Great beat, great lyrical tone.

This seems to be about whoever the character in the song would be getting his girl pregnant. She is not his first woman and apparently he had a child or children in those prior relationship(s) of his. But she is asking him a loaded question on the matter they find themselves in now. Whatever the real question is, he is avoiding and not mentioning as hint to what went wrong in his prior relationship(s) when pregnancy came up. Was it commitment? Not sure. He mentions he wishes she would have waited and not rushed into the pregnancy -possibly because they are still are trying to solidify their relationship bonds. One could say the relationship has not existed for long enough in his eyes to be matured for the responcibility and burden they are about to be going through. He knows the days are now going to get longer and they will lose time together at night due to this and oh boy the stress. But will this ruin their relationship? He can't answer that. If they let it get in the way of growing their realtionship and don't balance their needs and the child's -more than likey it will break it.
