The fact that she stayed home for 5 days with the kids and her entire article is about how miserable she was, instead of how her kids reacted to their mom being home instead of a nanny, is a testament to the narcissistic tendencies of our current culture. You don't stay home for yourself. You stay home for your kids.

My wife bought into feminism, she went to work and payed 75% of her paycheck to someone else to raise our kids so she could work. She came home tired and neglected our kids. I stepped up and raised our kids from the moment I got home till bedtime and LOVED IT. After years, my wife complained how our kids loved me so much and she felt out of touch with our family. I told her I would pay her what she makes at work to stay home, the first few months she loved getting paid to stay home, but she is back to being miserable. Girlboss: Talks about self, and self only. Self-care, self-made, self-expression, self, self, self.
Trad Wife: Talks about family, her kids, her husband, her community, her neighborhood.

One is pure narcissism while the other is pure.
