There is more to unlock after 30.
-A second floor to the restaurant (VIP area)
-You can donate to create a patient ward at the hospital
-There is a point where you can leave materials for Niko upstairs next to the DIY bench. It will unlock DIYs for different types of pillars and counters.
-There may be more, but this is what I have come across for now.

I think the most fun part is the fact you can go on for pretty much forever. I believe there's over 300 villagers you can make houses for.

Hi Chase. You missed things...

On your 40th clients, you will become a Superstar Designer and your reward will be 20000 Poki. You will also unlock the 2nd floor of the cafe after this ☺️

One more cool thing:
After you unlock the Apparel shop (30 jobs) DJ K.K visits and gives a concert on the beach at the back. The best thing is, you get new reactions!

After the 19th or 20th home designed. Niko will ask for specific materials in his material box upstairs. Donate your materials here to get the different types of counters/pillars! Donate, then the next day you get DIY from Niko! Repeat the process for all types of counters/pillars. There's: Brick, Concrete, Golden, Marble, Simple, Steel, Wooden!

You made a good point about going slow. That's what I did when the DLC first came out and ended up waiting until winter break to play it. Fun fact: on mondays if you visit the hospital, you can see Joan and she'll give you 10 turnips!

When you visit the holiday home owners for the first time after the initial build, they give you a gift. So far for me it's been the same wallpaper, flooring or rug of their house. I'm wondering if anyone has played around with getting the new wallpapers/floorings/rugs they want by doing this, E.g. not laying down any rugs, so you get more chance of them giving you the wallpaper/flooring that you want! (Then going back and fixing it how you like)

im so glad that it doesn't lose magic after 30 houses (because to be honest, that for me took 4-5 days to unlock)

There’s a 3rd soundscape unlock, the ability to order items, 20, 000 Poki pay raise, new app, and facility upgrades (for hospital, restaurant, and cafe).

You can exchange bells for poki and vice versa?! OMG. I was bummed that we earned poki instead of bells as I was hoping that “going to work” would give us a chance at having an alternative way to earn bells. So I didn’t have to grind fishing. This makes me beyond happy. I’m not finished paying off my debt, and no where near done with my house or island design! I’m even more pumped to play the dlc!

I bought the pro decorating license, and then played the dlc later, they refunded my miles after I unlocked it through happy home paradise. So you won’t ever “waste your miles” if you play the dlc. They kindly give you your miles back.

Edit: I wrote bells and not miles lol

Concerning the ABD, you can only change 15.000 poki maximum per day to bells.

I wish there was a dlc where you create an air BnB and rent it out to villagers daily, for some passive bells.

I THINK you might have missed that at the end, you can design a festival and that’s were you unlock the reactions!!
