Secrets You NEED To Know in HHP! Tips & Tricks // Animal Crossing New Horizons

Happy Home Paradise is so much fun and I have definitely been spending a lot of time decorating new vacation homes for villagers! If you are new to the game or may be you haven't spent much time unlocking the secrets then this video is for you! In this video I am sharing a few secrets that I have picked up from playing the game including how to earn POKI FAST! Let me know if you have another other secrets or tips for new players!!

If you talk to villagers that you’ve built vacation homes for, they’ll give you a wallpaper, flooring, or rug item that you used in their home 👍🏾

also if you buy chocolates and give them to one of your villagers on your island you get the option to build a vacation home for them. they go with you to HHP.

If you want access to more clothing in the apparel shop, place 6 of the same type of mannequin in the shop (eg:full body). 'Finish work' then go to the shop & buy what you like. Then go back to Lottie & ask to remodel, then switch the 6 mannequins to all of another kind (Half body). 'Finish work' then go back to buy what you like. Repeat again with the 6 head mannequins for headwear. It takes me 5-10 mins to do, everyday. Taking me from 6 to 18 options of clothing/headwear. Once you're set up, you only need to actually remodel 2 times per day. Leave the last set of mannequins out after buying & they automatically refresh items the following day.

About the "don't build your cafe/restaurant so tight" I've done it myself lol but it's fine, if you can't reach the villagers just click the down arrow and move them to an area where you can talk to them!

If your chef is giving you the same recipes over and over, change to a different one and you will new recipes. The ones I switched had different personality types, so that may be why.

Fun fact, you don't actually have to add anything to a remodel to get those sweet poki.
Also, don't ignore the villagers who approach you in the beach! They're asking for you "by name" which will give you a 30% bonus to both your payout and your designer level!
In addition, if you spend more than 20 minutes on a build (like there's any way to spend less?), have a decent number of roommates, and/or use every plot at least once, it will also increase your designer level.
If you want a villager but don't like their themes, you'll eventually be able to tell them you have your own ideas for their home.
Many VIP clients don't have a theme, so you can go nuts with your creativity!

Great tips! Some I have are, if you decide midway through to add an upstairs to a vacay home, just talk to the villager and you can add it then and there! Also, do roomies a few times, at least til Lottie approaches you for some renovation 👀👌 well worth it

1. If you have already built a vacation home for a client and would like to move locations, you still can. It’ll make a complete copy of the interior and transport it to the new island of your choice.

2. You can actually get exclusive clothes from your island’s apparel shop around DJ KK festivals (after you complete the main storyline).

3. If you visit your hospital and ask to see the doctor you can get some pretty cute clothing accessories for your character, such as the leg cast. It’ll change based on what you let the doctor know about.

There is a fun reaction the the school after you complete it. There will be a drowsy student that frequently dozes off and the Teacher will do an angry reaction. It was so adorable.

Speaking of the amiibo scanner, i have a little bag of a bunch of mini ACNH amiibo cards. This morning i wanted to pull out a random card, scan it, and then see who i got. And i got Lottie! I was laughing so hard! But i designed her house and on the first floor i did a tropical theme (well i mean your on a bunch of islands ShellBell goodness!) and then for the upstairs i did a floral theme. I named it “Lottie’s Flower Basket”! I think it turned out really cute!

I think you can also say “I have some ideas” when you approach a villager on the island, and then they won’t ask for a theme

You didn't mention that if you give the villagers on your original home island a box of Souvenir Chocolates they will ask if they can go with you to HHP island where you can design a holiday home for them!

Instead of 7, 500 for a remodel, add a roommate to a plot. You don't even have to change anything and then you'll get your full pay!
