Two strokes
Two open heart surgeries
Where to now ?

I had no one, I had a stroke at 21, was a senior in college, and I had nobody, nothing but surfing. Couldn't surf but tried to paddle out anyway, after 10 years still have nothing, but surf is good, and I smile every once in a while. Which is an improvement from not smiling for 8 years.

After a stroke everything seems to be very hard

This is the hardest thing for me. I was very lucky to survive my Hemo-stroke. Even luckier I came out on the other side with only a little right side weakness, a mild speech impairment, and headaches.
But I can't shake the fact that, that could have been it for me. And with a mystery mass in my brain that caused the first one I can't help but live in dread that the next stroke is right around the corner.

After my stroke everything changed my family say nothing is wrong with my brain but they just don't understand so i chose to stay away it makes me more depressed to be around them at this point
