My god. My dear Indian friends, why do you need to “counter China’s influence in Nepal”. Like you want is economic growth and prosperity for our people. China at this moment is much more financially capable and are heavily investing in our infrastructure. And trust me we have no intention of letting Chinese build military bases in Nepal to counter India. Can’t we just like simply trade with one another and not be obsessed with trying to gain influence and stuff.

We can cancel Indo-Nepal treaty of 1950, impose visa restriction on the Nepalese staying in India, disallow Gurkhas to have any voting rights in India. These will do. In Bangladesh, we can not do anything much.
