You have excellent fluency and are very comfortable on camera too which makes following all of it so easy. Full marks again.

James, what it is, is that most people can't tie their shoe laces.
I was a plumbing mentor in a college. It showed me that it takes lots of hands on experience and determination to do plumbing. Not everyone made it through.

you are brilliant, our flexi pipe on the hot water went tonight, tomorrow I will need to buy a new flexi pipe and fit it, this time with an isolating valve. what your showing here is so good. subscribed to your channel. I need to get up to speed to fix my own plumbing problems, can never get a plumber.
I am going to fit a couple of these under our sink hot and cold, thanks for this.

I've used these in the past for exactly the scenario you described in the video, seized stopcock, outside stopcock buried under tarmac and a layer of gravel!!😬 Had to remove about 30years worth of gloss paint from the pipe first😤 follow the instructions and you can't go wrong!

Clever device. I could have used this a few years ago. I was helping a friend and his main water valve wouldn't shut off completely. I managed to solder in a ball valve anyway by disconnecting the outlet of the main and putting a container under it to catch the water. This would've been so much easier.

I nearly p**ped myself using this for the very first time yesterday, cutting into a live pipe is scary. Make sure the pipe is secured to the wall allowing you to use some force ie manually, use a professional drill so you don’t get stuck halfway due to lack of power, get the KIT or you’ll find you’re missing loads of adapters… Sadly mine was leaking trough the threads and had to deal with that so have some putty or tape jic. Overall massively impressed and enormously delighted with a great solution and quality product, saved me a massive headache.

Note: You can also use a good socket set to turn the cutting tool instead of a drill .I did. My 15mm copper pipe was in an older house and therefore a thicker gauge I guess .Even my brand new work drill wasn't powerful enough. Really great product this though. Recommended

You should show a picture of it taken apart after install so we can see what it has done to the pipe. Awesome product

I’m wondering about the debris from the cut too but I’m in a situation that needs just this. We just bought a house that sat vacant for two years and every shut off along the way is shot. I’ve had two plumbers in here as well as an inspector and no one could find the main. We think it’s buried in the foundation or something. This will allow me to kill the supply on the line we think is the main which will let me swap out all the old plumbing, finally. I’ll be able to sleep tonight knowing that I can now do the plumbing myself since none of the “pros” we’ve had in here have been any help. Thank you!!!
