A Quick And Easy Way To CREATE HAIR In ZBrush

I keep seeing comments here and there saying they can't get the frame mesh feature to work.
Make sure you are drawing out the hair clump brush first. Then click frame mesh.
Just tried it out in the current version of ZBrush (2019) using the Hair Clump brush. It still works fine.

I like to sculpt hair the old fashion way just from a dynamesh sphere, sometimes i get some lumpiness in the hair strands from the strokes but it can be fixed with directional smooth and maybe sculptris pro. I see some ppl making the hair like me then they use hair brushes over it like this, wonder if this is indeed better, i like the sculpt approach.

Trouble shooting tip: After framing the clump brush (around 2:35), if I click on one of the curves with the detail brush, it just masks the hair clump and sphere. I then discovered that under curve, you need curve mode turned on... then it worked. Hope this helps someone.

Hi! Great tutorial, but i have a little problem: when i try to use the brush the result is a sphere, i cant create a curve, just spheres, and i cant find a solution... someone knows how to fixt that?

Hi there, thanks very much for this great tutorial! I purchased the hair brushes and they work very well following your steps. I'm still playing around with it. Any tips on how to close the pointy end of the hair strand better? I followed your steps for "closing holes" but it still leaves that inside tube with the strands around it. I pulled the individual strands into a sharper point with the Move brush but it seems a bit tedious. Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks very much!
