This is bullying and kidnapping to the max. That pediatrician overstepped his authority. All over jaundice that is naturally curable with the methods the parents were taking with the midwife at home. Doctors want their money. They want to push their unnatural treatments on their patients so they can send that bill. I hope everyone involved is held accountable. I can’t imagine how these parents feel. They need their baby back NOW. THIS IS INJUSTICE!!!

Yeah they need to give the baby back. The real tragedy is that there might be another baby who belongs to the other mother listed in the paperwork that could be in danger. I HOPE once they learned of their mistake they didn’t just let it go.

Same happened to me there was no abuse in my home but took 4 children and adopted the 3 year old I haven't c her since 2006 they kept saying other children 2 boys not 4 girls

This error still does not change the fact that they refused to treat their newborn baby for dangerously high levels of bilirubin which can cause significant brain damage leading to permanent physical and intellectual disabilities. That's what's most concerning!
