I STARTED HRT at 65. Was denied for decades and was still symptomatic. Never looking back. Quality of my life improved.

So I’m 54 and about 6m into my “final year” before I am post menopausal. I have been symptomatic for years. I just now came out of my appointment with my gynecologist (I was armed with data thanks to you) and even though I left with a script for the patch, she was NOT happy about it and boy did she let me know. She said I don’t need it, I need to lift weights and take calcium and vitamin D supplements. That by using hormones I will be increasing my cancer rates. But if that’s what I want, fine, here you go. I feel kinda sad and dismissed right now. I’ve been with her for years. I will give the patch a try (and the progesterone too) starting today but will be looking for a more supportive gynecologist.

Im honestly so happy i found your channel. Im probably about 15 ish years away from menopause, but i feel like with how women are treated in medicine, its never too early to learn and be prepared to advocate furiously for myself. You are helping me prepare.

I'm 63, started Estadriol cream last year. I take 1/2 gram twice a week now. It's been a game changer for me.

I retired to Mexico and my doctor here immediately suggested I go on HRT and couldn’t believe my doctor in the states hadn’t recommended it. Here they do a pellet which is placed under the skin with a small incision. It was a piece of cake and I feel amazing. My pellet is a combination of estrogen, progesterone and testosterone.

They're going to have to peel that patch off me on my deathbed as well.

I just started watching your channel. I’m almost 65-years-old and my doctor has never addressed going through menopause. Not ever. But so many problems I have you have talked about on your channel.

On the Climara estradiol patch, second lowest dose available in 🇨🇦Canada. I’m 68, and started 22 years ago in 2003 at 47! Several times I’ve had to be really firm with my drs to continue. I noticed that they haven’t fussed about it in the last few years. I’m so thankful I did.

It eliminated my chronic migraines which an endocrinologist told me is common, because it smooths out the ups and downs that cause migraines in a lot of women.

I've been on HRT since 2008, about 4 years after my hysterectomy when my hot flashes and mood swings became unbearable. I've got several mental health issues that I have been dealing with since I was quite young. ADHD, depression, anxiety, and I'm on the Autism spectrum. HRT has helped so much with managing those. I've tried to go off, but I feel so much better on. I'm 64 and, like my Grandmother, I will be on it until the end.

Dr. Haver, I LOVE your videos but I always swear I'm not going to read the comments (and then I do) because there's so much confusion, misinformation, uninformed doctors and women who don't know where to turn for help. It's heartbreaking.

Im so glad im watchinb you now! Im 39 and saw an endorinologist for the first time. Found out i had high estrogen... which is why i was overweight while being a bicycle tour guide biking 40 miles per day, hiking thr PCT, and doing ultramarathonns. Also why i had 12 day periods (i was tested for bleeding disorder, but didnt have my hotmones checked), extreme PMS and anxiety. Now im on progesterone. I will definitely add estrogen if and when my levels decline. Hormones are everything!

I went to new ob/gyn. I'm starting testosterone pellets in a month. She said I'm not old enough to start HRT and I would bleed like a pig if I did start the patch! She also said my blood pressure (it was way lower than it's been in the past yr) is too high to start birth control.
I'm almost 41, experiencing almost all of the symptoms, Dr. Haver has talked about. Periods are all over the place. I waited 6 months to see this new ob/gyn, 3rd one in 3 years. I feel like im going crazy! 😢
Can't wait for your book to come out next week!!! 😊🎉❤

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! This is VERY important information!!! my naturopath was not supportive of that idea when I last brought it up to her and I’m so glad I’m living in a time when these things are coming to light and hopefully my aging process is going to be easier and better than those before me with this info…

I will bring this new research to my new practitioner who is a nurse.
