I guess you were mentioning my comment about Taiwan "claming" China as its own. To make it very simple : China doesn't want Taiwan to declare independence, it is a red line. So Taiwan has to stay in this status quo, status quo which is : Both Taipei and Bejing claming to be the legitimate government of China. Taipei can't change its constitution on this matter.
