Hope you're enjoying your holiday! I'll be adding some cinnamon, cloves and star anise to mine. I'd never made it because I didn't have a tea strainer, didn't realise you could make it so simply! I've been wanting to try this for a while as I have spinal problems and struggle with pain. On the upside, I'm halfway to cutting out my tramadol. I started at one a week and now I'm going to do one every fortnight. My natural pain killers are kicking in and my pain hasn't got worse so fingers crossed. Thanks for the recipe and I'll be making this tomorrow xx

I'll just have the ginger in my almond milk with a touch of local honey. Ginger tea is a favorite of mine.

Nice madam...but for Indians it's quite common recepie every one know abt this.... we boil ginger n pepper in water... if u want to drink hot then add jaggery ..this is for common cold...for improving digestion cool it n mix with honey drink. .that's it....🙇

It’s not a good idea to add hot milk or anything hot (40 Centigrade ) to honey. It changes honey from being beneficial to becoming toxic.
Honey can be taken in milk which is less than 40 C or warm milk,
And in india we always drink turmeric milk nice and hot, preferably with milk having fat content because the active compound Curcumin is fat soluble and as you correctly mentioned adding black pepper delays the excretion and allows it work well in the body.
Can add jaggery.
I simply add stevia.
