By your calculation of 0.5lbs/week people should be gaining around 26 lbs a year every year after college from reduce activity which I don’t think actually happens. I think it is more to do with slight caloric surplus over long periods of time plus a bit of inactivity.

I went from 200 at 6% to 155 at who knows that body fat. And i was swimming 4-7 hours a day 6 days a week + lifting 7 days a week. Now I do nothing but train for lactic threshold and focus on my technique on dry and rock. The very opposite of fat. Why? Because i wasn't an alcoholic! Nor do i drink anything now. Super eazy! Never ever ever drink your calories

From what I understand humans acclimatize to activity so the effects of incr or decr in energy demands will level out over time, that’s why most effective diets target calorie deficits rather than activity increases. The same goes for gaining weight, it’s more about calorie surplus than activity decreases

I feel like chat gpt would do a better job than this video. Maybe he's too young as just making assumptions.

I would probably guess diet change and the actual ingredients both in the food consumed and portion size.

Give the male audience, my guess lower testosterone and loss of muscle mass level play a huge factor in weight gain.

Seems more logitical. We know why but we just dont admit it. But hes not in the old category

Wow, look at all those people getting in debt for a worthless degree, like philosophy or art. Thinking that its going to "work for them" so gullible. Its actually hilarious at this point.
