NEET PG postponement hearing on Aug 9: Exam city allotted, two-shifts are issues | Petitioner opines

The big NEET PG postponement hearing is tomorrow, Friday, August 9.

The petition was filed against the arbitrary exam city allocation and the decision to conduct the exam in two shifts.

We explain how the problem got this far and have spoken to the petitioner, Vishal Soren, too. Here's what he has to say.

It should be postponed, and conducted in a righteous manner...after results also there will definitely be chaos due to this normalisation and then definitely there won't be re neet pg exam, it would be too late by then... normalisation shouldn't be there for an exam like NEET PG, where reduction of few marks, shifts your rank by 100s....#neetpg24_singlepaper

Even the test centres are very hard to reach . My test center is 35km away from Agra on a expressway .

The person who has filed the case is himself traveling bcz he knows it won't postpone.
But i do feel bad for people who are not getting flights and trains. Though its a very genuine request but i guess its too late now and there wont be any postponement.

Postpone the exam and re-allot the exam centers

Hardly one or two among my friends or classmates have got centres within their hometowns or correspondence addresses, rest all far away. The purpose of conducting the exam in two shifts was to make sure exam is conducted smoothly, but the city allocation was so arbitrary and random, what’s the use then? Only if we had exam on July 7th, we wouldn’t have experienced such mental and physical trauma.

Best is if people who have got far off seats be re two shifts is unfair to all anyway ..so no need of further postponement on that ground🎉

Exam will not postpone this time & its Okay.. So much of mental pressure.. Around 99% of the candidates are working in any hospital... So taking Preparation.. Booking... Travelling its all are too much.. So for now let the exam be Will see what the & if postpone then please postpone for 3-4

Postponed the exam for atleast 2 weeks. And, release the admit card 1 week before the exam, , , so that they can make ticket by Air/train.
