Very nice explanation. Thank you very much. One question, what is the name of the two metal things you use at 0:42 to join the fixing block to the side panel?

Your plexiglass/lexan monitor cover. Are you making pilot holes/then attaching it to the wood blocking(dowels) directly? Or did you cut slots in the side panels a grove for it to sit flush in? What kinda of screws or bolts are you using to sit flush with the metal/cap/washer behind it ?

1/2" MDF....you'd need 1/2" do you get it? Also, what router bit did you use to cut the slot?

Awesome video! I love your channel. I have a few questions if you could do me the favor of answering them. Your modified plans, on the arcade_write up pdf you mentioned that I could obtain those plans directly from you? Or are those plans the same ones you have on your pdf full size plans site? If you send them out personally I would love to have them. My last question is, what thickness in acrylic plexiglass sheets do you use on your screen? Could you possibly provide an Amazon link to the exact ones you used. Thanks in advance, cheers.

Question for you. In the original build I saw that you wired your buttons and joystick directly to the Raspberry Pi, many of the button and joystick kits I am seeing come with their own controller board that plugs in via USB. Is there a reason you did it your way? Is it better for programming?

Hello
Great video
Quick question if anyone can help
The printout for the side panels and the dimensions on the dimensions and angles reference sheet don't add up? As in I print out the side panel the control panel measurement is 170mm but on the sheet it is 185.6mm
Am I being stupid?
Cheers for any help

fun fact this template doesn't fit a 2x2 board 24 inch by 24 inch. Its really close I reduced the pdf printable size to 96 percent and it works.
