How to make a DIY BIGGER Bartop Arcade! - Part 6 - Raspberry Pi

Finally here is the video for the Bigger Bartop Arcade. This build was a request and required some creative designing to fit the specs we were going for.

This is PART #6 in the series for this specific build. I have edited the videos to follow 99% of the steps I took in building this arcade. Almost every time I pickup a tool or turn a screwdriver you will see it. Most likely in fast motion but it is still there!

Plans are currently available FOR FREE on my website as a DWG Autocad and easy to read and print PDF files!

Similar internals for this build but I've learned a few tricks in the last few years on my own and from comments on past videos. I love building these more than actually using them!

If you found this video helpful consider buying me lunch!

What a fantastic series. I am planning to build mine in the summer as UK weather is shit and I don't have a work shop. Anyway, the last 2 months, I been buying my components from eBay, way cheaper. I have everything apart from the MDF, monitor, lights and speakers. I am in planning Stage, deciding what size to build which will determine screen size and how much wood to buy. However, I am differently using your light switch idea, so going to make a list and buy from eBay. Anyway, what a great build series. I am so jealous of you students that get to play on such a awesome machine. Thank you. 👍

Gonna have to check the recall box out. I've been wanting to build one of these for a long while. Looking forward to your full size one also!

What an awesome build. Followed along, all the way through, can't wait to build mine. Will be taking multiple multiple ideas from your presentation and implementing them into my project. Look forward to the programming videos that you mentioned, not to mention of full-sized build. Thank you

I like the build. For your exposed screws you know you can get some plastic black plugs from the hardware that just attach to the screw heads? Looks a little better than exposed screws.
And I know what you mean about those LED adhesive lights not sticking. I put them in a jukebox build and even with them sticking to a painted surface they still came off. I ended up putting some electrical tape about every 30cm and stapling them in - Glue gun works good too! I think in future I'll glue them to a piece of 3mm MDF and screw that on instead so it can be removed if need be.

Im amazed on how well detailed the videos are explaining everything. My bro and I are planning on building bar top arcade. I'm not experienced on wood work. I got couple of machines to work with. Witch tools you think is a must have to build an Arcade that will make things much easier you think? Thanks for the videos.

A bit confused...your video example of wiring the power strip to the IEC switch does not match the accompanying diagram. For the two jumpers your video shows them leap frogging each other but the diagram shows one on the outside terminals and the other on the inside terminals. Am I seeing this correctly or missing something?

Hi great video! I have a silly question but what size power brick did you use to connect your leds for the marquee, was it a 12v?

So the tv stays on until u flip that switch bcuz your hiding the sensor for the tv itself? Also is it better to place the Plexiglas a lil away from the tv or on it ? I see the tv u have it inserted into the wood so it kinda gives the Plexiglas a couple of mm off.

Quick question. My switch didn't come with the plastic toggle switch nut, would you happen to have an Amazon link to the ones you used?

"this worked for me" -- in other words, take the way you were going to comment him and write it down on a piece of paper, fold it up real nice & shove it
