Build a BIGGER BARTOP ARCADE - FULL LENGTH AND FREE PLANS!

Finally here is the video for the Bigger Bartop Arcade. This build was a request and required some creative designing to fit the specs we were going for.

I combined all 6 videos into one long film for those that did not want the 'royalty free music' played during the video. Sometime music can be a distraction so I will only use it in future videos if I think it belong. Please ask questions about the video but don't forget to check the links below. Many of my pages (build plans page, etc) have all the information you may need! Don't be afraid to read the comments below for similar questions. Can you tell I'm a school teacher? haha

I have edited the videos to follow 99% of the steps I took in building this arcade. Almost every time I pickup a tool or turn a screwdriver you will see it. Most likely in fast motion but it is still there!

Plans are currently available FOR FREE on my website as a DWG Autocad and easy to read and print PDF files!

Similar internals for this build but I've learned a few tricks in the last few years on my own and from comments on past videos. I love building these more than actually using them!

Your video was the push that took me from "I'd like to do this" to "I'm buying wood, filling in gaps in my tool set and going full speed ahead"! Thank you for documenting this process and even more for making the plans available. This will be my most ambitious project yet but being able to watch you do it provided that last bit of confidence needed. Please enjoy the lunch!

You're a perfect example of why they should teach shop in high school! These are the skills that people need.

Great job!! Love it!

I'd say the clearest explanation of an Arcade Cabinet Build on YouTube - well deserved praise. I've just ordered a flat-pack bartop from an Australian Company here because I simply don't have all the tools. I have all the electrical components, Raspberry Pi though. Thank-you Mike - a really great video mate!

N64 Controller = 15 buttons.

4 for the DPad directions.
1 for the start button.
1 for A.
1 for B.
4 for c buttons.
1 for Left Bumper.
1 for Right Bumper.
1 for Z button.
&
1 analog stick.

Your arcade setup... an analog stick, which is more like a dpad if we are being honest, and 6-8 buttons.

Why are you trying to play N64 games with it? Hahahaha.

Also, for air flow, you should use 3 fans minimum.

2 intake.
1 out.

Or perhaps just using a big intake fan and a smaller out fan, this will have a similar effect.

Doing this will create positive air pressure inside the cabinet and will ensure air gets to all the components.

Great video though. Thanks. Always fun to watch you build and talk us through it.

Plenty of room to keep the wireless keyboard in the back too (with the locked back of course) for updating and whatnot
Very very cool build! I want to do this!

Thank you so much for this insightful build. I just finished making my cabinet yesterday. It is a bartop with a full base on the bottom, so I can convert from bartop to full sized machine. Couldn't have done it without people like you, making these great DIY videos!

Really enjoyed this build. And your attention to your wood cuts really shows. Hoping to make my own soon and will be watching and rewatching this video a lot. Thanks.

I'm making a guitar hero type game in java and turning it into a stand. I'm even having a rockband straticaster and an xbox360 X-plorer painted for it (dark oak neck, white buttons including the fret buttons, Wilson talent center blue and green for the base, its gonna be so cool)
