if you are a student with a digital notetaking device such as an iPad or some other form of tablet do you ever wonder what the best note taking app is especially with the numerous notetaking apps available on App Stores if so this video is for you. in this video I'll review the pros and cons of notes shelf 3. Paper templates: so many scheduling templates to help keep your life organized, noteshelf 3 truly has an insane amount of templates. Quick note/note taking experience: you can change the size of your paper to A4 if you're planning on printing your notes, noteshelf has a pen highlighter eraser and lasso tool however one thing that I did not like in this app is that you cannot choose the colors you'll permanently find on the left- hand side. I noticed that the shapes tool did not work for shapes such as stars. The Eraser is pretty similar to other apps and the text box tool is another simple tool the lasso tool is also very similar to the other apps. What I think is the coolest part of noteshelf is AI. With noteshelf AI you can type in any topic and it'll give you at least one paragraph so you can learn that topic better it's also able to summarize explain and translate concepts. You can use shortcuts: two fingers and double tap to undo and three fingers and single tap to redo. Add a new page: choose template, set the page background. Presentation tool: laser pointer. See all the pages bookmark them. Super useful because zoom box moves along as you write. You can add a password to your note which is quite unique compared to the other apps and can also be very useful. Enable apple pencil and pressure sensitivity. Add a microphone to toolbar to record while taking notes. It comes with so many stickers and emojis to help you keep up with something like a bullet Journal. Also focus mode button. Note shelf 3 does not highlight in a straight line unless you enable it. Notesshelf is similar to notability in terms of organization; you can see all the different folders you have on the left hand side you can create different folders for each subjects.

with Noteshell can AI search among my handwritten notes?

Let's say I write notes and that text would be recognized (OCR) and then I could ask the AI to find something among my notes?

I just got a an iPad and deciding between note shelf or good notes. I seen that you can import downloaded slides in good notes. Can you do the same in note shelf ?

You absolutely can select/customise the three pen colours. :)

You can actually change all the colors - just tap the color you wanna change!

@rueb- to change the colours you have to press and hold, you'll see a sub menu with "edit colour" and "reset to default", doing it with the pen is probably easier as the circles are quite small (the feature is being there since the 1st version, but it is easily missed). Also, you can add pages more easily by dragging "up" the last page (or left, if in horizontal scrolling). 👍👍
