I have found onenote as the best note-taking for project planning and Roam Research for thinking on paper. About the cons of Onenote tho, it feels like microsoft is not investing on onenote for making it better and changing things.

Now that ive tried Obsidian, im hooked. Though I do miss OneNotes OCR capabilities for hand drawn notes. 😢

I was using onenote 2 years everyday with my MSc. Took hundreds of notes, pictures, import pdfs. One day the app decided not to sync properly among iphone/ipad/mac. Even on browser version. I tried everything (delete apps, redownload, transfer big notes and re-put them in the app). There were some notes refusing to sync. I abandoned it and I’m using agenda for typing notes and collanote for handwriting notes.

So far apple note is working pretty good when I realized you can link to notes, share and collab with contents in a shared folder, and command shortcuts for rich text objects

Can anyone please help me.
Tell me what kind of program i should use as an alternative to onenote.
I wanna upload images, make tabels, making notes and have sync between phone and pc.
Nothing more.
Should i pay for this?
I use onenote for 6 years for free.
Now i can't download my onenote 2016 on windows 10.. so i want to switch to something better.

What’s the best one for nursing students who need to import graphs, pictures of anatomy etc, take handwritten notes with Apple Pencil, do drawings of anatomy etc …. Working on iPad 6 for now but within a year I hope to have the iPad Pro, I also use an
iPhone 7 as my iPhone X died and apple REFUSE to fix or replace it just like with every apple device that inevitably dies on me (3 mac book pros, 2 mac airs, multiple iPhones and at least 2? iPads I believe? Over the course of 12 years as they get older and a new release comes out my device dies in the rear end… and apple now tell me “it’s water damaged” SERIOUSLY you think I’m that retarded to have water damaged like ten devices? C’mon Apple! But I also use an
Apple air book (it’s on the blink tho cos it’s a 2018 model!) I’ve downloaded MULTIPLE note taking apps in preparation for next years uni I want ti spend all of these holidays setting up the most amazing productivity system ever. So far I’m using Trello and I’ve just downloaded to-do-ist and sunsamo to see if sunsamo? Is worth the $20 a month and that’s $20 USD so it will be close to $30 for me in Australia. I’ll use both over the next two weeks whike I have the 14 day trial and then decide. But for notes 📝 I downloaded- liquid tect, Margin, notability, good notes etc…. Would love an opinion. I used one note while I did law subjects In 2019 and it was super basic but easy I love the images on Pinterest of other nursing and med students who use good notes and notability etc
