Marty's solos age like fine wine. Been listening to Megadeth for 20 years, and I still notice new things in Marty's solos to this day. His dynamics and exotic note selection are unmatched. It's so refreshing to hear a guitarist not just ripping through scales or repeated patterns. Easily one of the best guitarists of all time. Worth repeated listenings.

Also, Doug, that version is a remastered version from the early 2000’s. The original version has a second rhythm guitar playing harmonies throughout pre-chorus and the chorus. This song received very heavy MTV video playtime. You should watch the video to get the full message of the song. Thanks again!

This album came out right after Metallica’s black album dominated the charts, and topped at number two behind Billy Ray Cyrus of all people. This is probably their biggest song, and it’s much more simple than their older tunes on Rust in Peace and others. I think you would like the title track, “Sweating Bullets”, and “Skin O’ My Teeth” quite a lot.
