MacBook Air M2 vs MacBook Pro M2: which one to choose in 2023? Is it worth it to pay extra for a Pro laptop, or is the Air version just as good? Today I'm going to compare M2 Mac Air and M2 Mac Pro to decide which Apple laptop to buy this year! Since the question of choosing a new Mac has been on the minds of many lately, I feel it necessary to make such a comparison so that you don't waste your money! So be sure to watch this video until the end, so as not to be mistaken with the choice of MacBook in 2023!

Thank you Arthur! I think what some of us wonder which suits them better might not be the comparison of each base model, rather between Air with 16GB/512GB vs Pro base, worth additional $400 or not? I’m one of them.

I'm not a pro, but I would always choose MacBook Pro, speakers far better, camera better, Screen night and day, there are more connectivity ports and you get twice the RAM & Twice the Memory is all that worth $800 more? All day long! Oh and it has a proper cooling system

Thank you, this video helped me made my decision, it will be the MacBook Pro M2 Pro 14" very close on price to the MacBook Air M2 with the configuration I chose, so it's a no-brainer, the choice is obvious...

Great video, man!
It’s very nice to see content creators advising people towards the 2021 MBPs.
I don’t understand those people freaking out about upgrading their Macs from M1 to M2. They are just 1 or 2 years away and the difference would be minor.
Even M1 MBA or Mini would be a great deal for 80% of the people, those who make common daily tasks.
If you are in a emergent country like Brazil it makes even more sense because its high prices.

Next few months I’ll by a M1 Pro MBP. It would last forever for my workflow. I’m coming from a 2014 Mac Mini.

Thanks again!

The real deal is the M1 MBP for 1, 539 with a year warranty and you can still get apple care. For those who are military or vets go check out the military discount especially if you looking at the M2 MBP because they can knock off about $200 .

Is this comparing the 13 inch air with the 14 inch pro, if it is then this comparison is irrelevant as the comparison should be between the 13 inch air and 13 inch pro surely.

Went with the pro simply for the display.

If Apple wasn't so greedy, I would be happy with a MBP 15 inch like they used to make.

It's interesting, as a Canadian, going onto the Apple website, choosing the newest M2 Pro, then making all the changes that I'd like to have, ends up being close to $5, 000. for it. Being a heavy user (used for many hours per day and photo editing, playing music, along with other apps running) I'd like 64 GB of ram, and 4 TB SSD and more cores. It just jacks up the price considerably, plus our Canadian $ is 34% less than the US $ unfortunately, then it gets to the Canadian border, and the tax man rapes you even more! Technology is expensive...yet available, making the decision a tough one.
