I loved India and as a black man it was nice to move about freely without people being suspicious of me.

My comment may seem a bit odd but if I were your father, ( I'm 70 so maybe your grandfather), I would be extremely proud of you. Your exuberance, thoughtfulness, candor, courage and curiosity are infectious and admirable. You are a joy to watch and listen to. Thank you.

As an Indian, I must say Trash and hygiene has always been a problem for india. And successive governments have not spoken about it. But the current dispensation decided to take this issue head on. It is also because we have a huge population. The one thing that no governments in india talk about is the population and ways to reduce it. Successive governments have ignored the high population problem of the country. A population control law is in the works and hopefully it would be implemented this year.

Nigerian American here. I work in tech and visited India (Mumbai) with my Indian boss. Beautiful women, exotic landscapes, rich history and vibrant colors. But the traffic is like a war zone and the body odor had me fearing I would lose my sense of smell.

You're very strong I visited India too Delhi and Punjab. They're friendly welcoming people. I love their vegetarian food especially in Chandigarh. The only issue I had was pollution it was ridiculous. The international bodies should help Indoa yo clean up air quality noise and waste. I was scared of getting sick from hygiene issues but thankfully U didn't

My very brief trip to India earlier this year was amazing! I had the time of my life. I’m so excited to go back next year. And everything you said is basically true. Crash, poverty, chaos, but I loved it all. The colors for me just really took my breath away.

I understand exactly what you are saying but putting that aside. If you could walk around without a sense of feeling unwelcome or fear because you look different. That's a plus.

In your opinion, what are some of the good and bad things about where you live (India or anywhere in the world)?

I think it also depends upon where you live like when I live in Delhi I just hate it, it is so deep rooted in my head like I am not safe. But when I was in Banaras I swear I didn't want to come back to my home town I was like nah no imma gonna live here The rest of my life take all my money

So yeah it's two things one city I feel unsafe and one city I roam at 2 am night
