It’s definitely worth going down that hill in Kelingking beach! It’s absolutely gorgeous down there. Especially in the early morning. Super peaceful with almost nobody there. Granted the climb down is challenging, be slow and wear some sneakers. You will fall in love with the place.

Indonesia is open for E-visa and its better to get before hand.
Don't buy simcard from airport. Outside one can get for 690 Rs (135, 000 IDR) - for 14 days with 25gb data.

Bali is so tourist friendly that you no need to take tourist package. I feel it kills the fun as you don’t have a choice to choose what you want and always hectic as you need to stick to their schedule. I was there last year on our own without package. Going again this year in April!
