I could tell from the first time you showed the red 3DS back that it wasn't installed and fitting correctly. Now we see what a terrible job they did refurbishing this with 3rd party parts. Especially gluing the back cover.

They’re not fake, but rather just cheaply refurbished.

Not fake consoles, but most likely refurbished with cheap parts, especially those shells. Still saves them from a landfill where these consoles would've otherwise ended up.

my mom ordered me one of these, bless her heart, and honestly I was happy with the custom firmware and access to retro games. in fact, just because i could, i got doom and doom 2 on the thing. only issue is that the joystick on the 3ds was terrible like it was super sticky-ish and barely worked. i’ve been thinking about trying to replace it myself but idk if it’s worth it

I like the idea of them reusing the clear protective shell as the box it comes in. It's a waste of cardboard to throw it out just to use a different box.

thought it was crazy they come modded, because Wish definitely didn't have to do that. now i'm thinking it's to make up for all the crappy craftmenship

They didn't even do a good job modding it. I don't see universal updater, homebrew channel, checkpoint or twilight menu.

When I purchased a wish 3DS, it came in a awful knock-off case but the only problem was after a few weeks of playing multiplayer games the system stopped connecting, and when I opened it, the wireless card didn't even look official...

I hate videos where the poster says the thing is "fake" when it's clearly not. They have no way of fabricating the motherboards 🙄 it's an official motherboard with a ton of aftermarket parts, probably from one that was previously destroyed and was in ewaste for recycling but still turned on. So they took the ewaste motherboard and used 3rd party parts to refurbish it.

This is my biggest fear. I love 3ds and tbh my real ones are getting worn out. You can't find real ones easily and I dont want to buy crappy replacements and fake parts to replace. My rubber in my old models are worn and fell apart off the slider stick is fine just had to glue homemade ones on it

I buy a old 3ds japanese model with USA region mod, it's works great, the only change who add was a cover and a more big micro sd with more speed



This works, and all homebrew works too, including the latest update

PS: can be return the japanese 3DS console to the original firmware following a tutorial, looks fine, has more content in japanese eshop (before the closing), like exclusive themes and games
