I remember when I first time started interviewing other people no one told me that in some countries there are questions that you can't legally ask and some that you should avoid at all costs.

Over the past six years of my experience, I have worked in many different regions and in each region, there are questions that you should not ask.
In today's video, I focused on Top 8 (Eight) questions that I would never ask.

Those questions are the following:
1. What is your sexual orientation?
2. Do you have kids and do you plan to have more?
3. What is your age? & When did you graduate?
4. What is your religion?
5. Are you a member of any political party?
6. What is your ethnicity?
7. Do you have any criminal history?
8. Do you have a disability?

Any of these questions can be illegal to ask depending on where you live, I would suggest that you avoid them at all costs.
You should always think about the morality of these questions, how would candidate feel about these questions, and what information do you want to get from these questions?

What is the reason why I am making this video? It was prompted by an interviewer in my company who didn't know or understood why he can't ask these questions.
He wanted to ask a set of questions, and he couldn't explain why he wanted to ask them. I think there is a bit of regional mentality that contributed to it.
Speaking as someone who is from Eastern Europe and I have been watching my parents struggle to find decent jobs in the early 2000s, these questions were a common thing and if you answered them in a way that it's not pleasing the employer you would be rejected.

Sadly, there are still a lot of employers like that in the world today and some are even in the IT industry, and in some huge corporations.

The question becomes "What we can do about it right now?". We can spread the "word", share this video, talk to people. Explain to them why it's not okay to ask these questions, and if they don't want to understand FIRE them. We don't need people like that in any part of our society.

If someone asks you these questions during the interview, respectfully decline to answer and leave the interview. That is okay to do, don't be afraid!
