Best Early Monk Item! #bg3 #baldursgate3

Super easy and early-game MUST HAVE item for Monk in Baldur's Gate 3! I wouldn't run a Monk without running straight for this if possible!

Never rolled a monk, but these gloves are extremely good for throwing builds. The "unarmed" strike also includes throwing things, stacking and proccing the lightning charges.

Only issue is in the blighted village you have the "+2 AC if not wearing armour" which I use on my monks (or barbarians) for the rest of the game. +2 AC is insane

One thing most people miss is the interaction between lighting charges and titanstring bow. It will add your strenght modifier usually +5 to your lightning charge damage so you will deal 6dmg instead of 1. pretty nuts.

I wish they did more damage but i think it has advantage against enemies with metal armor

Drop a create water with a support under enemies for extra dmg i used these till mid act 2 on monk really good gloves

you have the other item that is hard to pass up: the bracers of defense. having a +2 to AC seems pretty good too.. :((
