I still dont know why I can configure VLAN filtering on switch chip and do it in hardware. But I cant do it in the software bridge with hardware offloading. What is the reason for this mikrotik. For example with the RB3011

i wouldn't like to enable ingress filtering.
That allows me to use "user service tag".
So i can use it as a tunnel between the sites

CRS3XX are fairly easy when it comes to vlan configuration on the other hand CRS1XX / CRS2XX are a real thing! One thing I have never heard it's the ability for the CRS3XX to route between vlan interface via hardware please show me how it's done I'm using an upstream router with a trunk to route between vlans. Please make a session with CRS1XX/CRS2XX vlan configuration.

Query: I have this Rb4011 in my home with a basic configuration, and I see that if I put the ethernet ports in the bridge I lose the hardware download (HW), but if I deactivate the STP I recover the HW, it is convenient to deactivate the STP in the bridge in a home network? Random mac on traf. generator? Does this mean that there is still a random number generator in RouterOS? Can I get access to it? It would be useful for the crane to generate passwords and secrets, as well as, for example, for balancing tunnels at the configuration stage from a script...
