Excellent job. I look forward to seeing RouterOS v7 officially released for production use.
Many thanks to the entire MikroTik team.

Mikrotik are not the most enthusiastic folks to watch videos of... but they make some damn good products

So you guys are using Macs and yet there is no native macOS winbox 🙄

Mikrotik please offer online exam cetification for MTCNA, so many entry level IT wants to go with mikrotik, especially those aspiring network engineer.

please add support for the current versions of RouterOS to send the delegation prefix to radius, as currently the adaptation suggested by you is very frustrating, and many other manufacturers already do this normally, even Accel-PPP does, and you has not yet implemented.

in future versions consider the possibility of adding the IPoE protocol.

One of the strong points of RouterOS is that you have the same configuration capability both in commandline, winbox and webfig. Other manufacturers (at least initially) often bolted-on some GUI configuration tools that were basically just like Quick Set: they generated a basic configuration from some values provided by the user, but those configurations cannot be maintained and more advanced capabilities are not available from that environment.

I presume you implemented this multi configuration method in RouterOS using some table-driven way where there are description tables for the GUI entries that map the actions in the GUI back to either commandline or even some level below that (which is also accessed by the commandline parser).
Am I right in that? I would not expect that adding GUI support for a certain new commandline support is a many-manhour job, or is it? Or that it even has to be done by the expert of the routing subsystem, rather than an intern who just translates parameters to GUI field descriptions.

I am asking this because after all those beta releases, BGP is still missing in the GUI environments (winbox, webfig). Having it available there is IMHO especially important in this phase of adoption of a new command structure, as it is much easier for the network admins to browse through what has changed and what is new in winbox or webfig than it is in the commandline.
Even though I often configure BGP in v6 using commandline, if only because it is often easier to export some config, edit its relevant parameters, and then import or just paste it into a new router, I would really prefer to be able to browse around the new environment from winbox.

Have you addressed OSPF neighbor reset on cost change for OSPF? Outages are not acceptable in production networks!

Nice video and features!!! I want to test it but I am waiting for the Stable Release. Any date to get version 7 out of development and become Stable release?

Yesterday was released v7.1.4 of Stable chain, and we are still unable to print announced routes per peer.

long-term is our choice :)
But I am looking forward for ROS7 in future.

finally seeing things coming along!
we now need better hardware, clearly current solutions only work well when tasks can be offloaded to an asic. when the cpu needs to be used (firewall+queue) the router cannot hope to keep up with what is expected from the advertised wire speed.

Hi, why in this time of pandemic mikrotik do not permit take the certification exam online? Companies like Cisco or Forti are available, im lose my MTCNA because in my country can not find a place to take the exam.
