I like this design compared to my TP-Link, where the router is constantly powered on as long as it's connected to AC without any power switches, and that the reset requires you to unplug the router from power. Feels more foolproof, even for a dumb little home setup.

This video is really short. Those, who are struggling to reset hAP AC here are the steps to follow.
Step 1: Hold the reset button while powering up the device First beep.( SFP light is on and not blinking)
Step 2: Second beep. (SFP light will blink twice about half a second. That's the queue when you release the reset button)

i did reset my router this way, now the light flashes BUT it does not reset or it did but thr router is not being picked up not by ethernet or wifi where i. The past it would find the mikroTik router on wifi and via ethernet it woulf go to the router log in when I put the IP in the browser now NOTHING

I just bought the hAP ax3. As I understand I FIRST need to power it and than hold the reset button till the lights start flashing. That's what I also just did and that worked.

I've done this and the device still doesn't work. Is there a way to reset via console with a usb / rj45 cable?

Here's a tip. Have ALL of the units follow the same timing, LED outputs, etc. It's confusing trying to get many different models into NetBoot.

I figured it out, you can't put the pen immediately. And you have to power it on for 1 second. Until lights, come on then stick it in like your mom, and then it starts blinking, but if it stops blinking it f**** up everything so Release second 3 seconds later Before it's done blinking And it works because you can't build a Good system

This is all just trash - wAP AC LTE6 sees NOTHING when Zyxel for 20% the price works perfect.
Now it just doesn't respond at all. Any attempts of reset change nothing. You are not showing LEDs here, in manual there is 5 second mentioned - since when?!
