The music in background is very distracting....takes away from the story.

why aren't conmen responsible for paying back the money swindled from their victims. they should be put to work and not let free until they return whatever amount is possible.
by going to prison they still use others' money in form of an upkeep.

The problem with conman is that they get comfortable, they think they are the most intelligent human beings and there is no one else smarter than them.. My father used to say "No matter how smart you are, there is someone out there smart as you"

Five years? Come on, UK, that is no time at all for what he has done. Expect to hear from him again, and the UK will have deserved it!

The music and the cartoonist noises in the background is doing my bloody head in.

I knew this man in his home town of Clay Cross, when in his early twenties he was running a double glazing company. He bounced cheques and ripped off several local suppliers, including my business, his employees and his girlfriend's family. He was prosecuted and cried in the dock and got let off with a slap on the wrist. Even knowing his early history I'm amazed how far he went. The punishments were always too weak - I wouldn't be surprised if he was at it again.

Describing a lawyer / barrister as a "pillar of the community" is a fundamental flaw in this video.

It’s simple - ask these conmen where they work, call the company to check or ask if you can accompany them to work one day. I know where my accountant, Dentist, Doctor etc. offices are all based. Every guy I’ve dated, I’ve been to their workplace. Also, wearing fancy clothing doesn’t mean anything. Richard Branson wears a plain white shirt and jeans, Simon Cowell and Mark Zuckerburg wear t-shirts and jeans and all are wealthy. Anyone can buy a suit and pose as someone they’re not.

I don't find him or what he did smart, and the ONLY reason he succeded in getting all that cash from these people was their greed, and trusting him based on his appearance.

Did no one ask where his chambers were? No checks with the Bar Council? When did we become so dumb and remedial as a nation? Was it television?

Ok, really? Handing over 46, 000 pounds in cash to ANYONE.... Whoa Nelly! That's absolutely ludicrous that anyone would think that is legit. I'd be like, no way Jose!
