Omg, just saw this notification. I used to WORK WITH this guy for a while in Blackpool!
Genuinely one of the creepiest people I have ever met. I spotted lots of odd things about him pretty swiftly, but most were taken in by him.
He would tell the most ridiculous lies you've ever heard. He used to come to work with a sports holdall and tell everyone he was a black belt in karate. He produced his karate kit out of his bag one day - all brand new in plastic, folded and never used. He could no more do karate than my cat!
He's a lot more sinister in person than he seems in stories. He'd spend some lunch times (we found out later from police), at the local hospital, pretending to be a doctor and trying to administer unknown medications to patients.
I honestly feel, after studying true crime for years and spending time with this bloke (there were only 5 of us in the company, and we all worked in the same office), that he's done more than the police know...he seems like one of those slow burning time bomb type characters...
One of the ladies he'd conned came to the office one day to warn us all (he'd been working with us for about 8 months then). He'd not only conned her but abused her, mentally & physically. I honestly don't think this guy is just a conman. There's something else going on there as well...he had completely dead eyes.

OMG i have just seen his face after 30yrs trying to forget him.Iworked as a nurse wih him in 1983 at the whittington hosp. I was newley qualified as a nurse and worked in emergency with him . Many times he worked with me and performed more duties than the media say. I dated him over 6 weeks and he had blonde hair then .I lived in the nurses home in highgate and many times he stayed over. We had lots of dates in expensive resterants and i had many gifts. H e was not around very long as his beeper would activate. Only now i realise he activated himself. He stole the trust of my parents and when he was arrested one night at work they insinuated i had someway encoraged his activitys in engaging his post. I was 23 in a job i loved and was terminated because of his actions. There is a much deeper thing that he brought on me that i cannot discuss publicly. This parasite wrecked havoc to human beings in my workplace and caused me trauma that will never cease. Not a legend fraudser a bastard i would still hunt down

I wish, in these types of shows, they would spend more time telling about the case, about what actually happened, instead of spending so much time speculating about the perpetrator's thoughts and the reasons for his behavior.

the biggest problem in this case is that this conman prison sentence is too short seriously.

I find it incredible how many times he’s been arrested yet they keep letting him out 🤷‍♀️ The guy has proven that he’s a serial conman with no conscience & no limits to what he’ll do. Surely by now they’ve figured out he can’t be rehabilitated & short-term punishment means nothing to him 🤷‍♀️ People like him should stay locked up for the safety of the community.

How can someone walk off the streets; enter a medical institution; assume an employee's identity, pose and perform as a doctor? Are hospitals so busy that staff cannot recognise their colleagues! Ridiculous!

I served time alongside him in HMP Wayland in 2006/2007. Quite a character and many stories to tell as you can imagine. Should be a film made about him 👍

If he has done this for 25 plus years, gets caught, gets a few years in jail, and goes back to the same, then he should be thrown in jail for 20 years. He is a threat to society. The justice system is messed up all over the world.

I never put doctors on a pedestal at all ever. Until they open their mouths I wait to see if I'm going to listen to them or not. Some of the most Ill informed, poorly educated, reckless, arrogant, close minded and bad tempered people I've ever met are doctors

It beggars belief that this creep is free and prob still conning his way around the UK. I just spent 3 weeks in hospital in London, it is really scary hearing that someone can masquerade as a doctor, administer treatment and medications. It's sickening that he stole from anyone at all but especially the ill, vulnerable and even dying patients when he pretended to be sick himself.

He looks "professional and wealthy, " that was all he needed to fool most ordinary people.

How can you knowingly release a repeat offender . Does it not cost the government to constantly hunt this guy down and keep taking him to court? He is incorrigible.

To have just an ounce of this guys confidence would be great! As a doctor, I cannot imagine the bs he must had been telling the poor patients.

I worked in a dental office as the Lab tech. One time I bought a lab coat rather than my apron just because we had moved into a new office where I couldn't hide in my lab.
90% of the patients that saw me thought I was the dentist. They made me stop wearing it.

Clearly a sick, pathological criminal. And the court idiots kept giving him short sentences... then kept letting him out way early! smdh

Even as a conman he's a failure, he gets caught every time just after weeks, his 'cons' are just used to steal credit cards and some cash... that's rather pathetic

I work in healthcare and everywhere I have ever worked, I had a background check and I had to have my fingerprint record done as part of getting I don't get how these guys don't get caught if the hospital does background checks like they should.
