I went raw today to get my health better.. I've seen people who wore glasses no longer need them and curing things like cancer.. I'm diabetic I'm hoping it gets better.

The best raw thing I found is to make these big chopped vegetable dishes where everything is diced really fine and there's vinegar sauce in it so that you get a partial vinegar digestion and then let that sit in the fridge for a day. This makes things tender easy to chew and reminds me more of cooked food. Far superior to cooked vegetables regarding how I feel

I learned so much with Rick at the Fort Brag Institute. Personally I enjoy beans very much. I am more raw in the summer and more cooked in the winter.

Seasonality is an important factor too. I live in west Texas and we are deep in winter right now. Freezing. Produce is not the best right now and with supply chain issues etc… Cooked Whole Foods with some veggies and the few fruits in season is A ok for me.

Please give us a picture of what the optimal raw food diet looks like. And we need several different kinds of examples. We need to know what an athlete might eat on such a diet. I am an older woman who has a lot of trouble losing weight. I am sedentary. What should my diet look like optimally?

I’d like the comparison of a raw Whole Foods plant based diet vs a hybrid raw and cooked whole food plant based diet with no oils. You can’t take someone off the SAD diet and then turn them into raw eaters then of course they’ll get better! But you do as well with a hybrid raw and cooked diet. I’m 70% raw and feel great and my bloodwork is flawless. I do feel better and lighter if I’m mostly raw. I consume a lot of greens, fruit and vegetables. But I crave sweet potatoes, have to have a half of a sweet potato a day. I also have two servings of beans and two servings of grains.

I wouldn't be fully raw or 90% raw even for 1 trillion dollars. Eating 2000+ calories from fruit everyday is too much sweetness for me, and I don't feel happy. High carb low fat half cooked half raw or mostly cooked is also far better than high fat raw.

Some vegetables are more nutritious raw. Like broccoli i think.
Then i think i heard cooked carrots are healthier cooked. Don't quote me.

Adding some conservatively cooked items too a basically raw diet is a net benefit. Those who believe otherwise have mental issues.

I disagree with the comment on fruit and the teeth. Better oral hygiene will take care of that.

What do you mean by diabetes? I am type 1 diabetes and still venture into the raw food diet with sprouts, wild herbs, vegetable and fruits. Wild herbs are something you can get for free in the wild, e. g. stinging nettles, goutweed, etc. They are full of nutrients and unlike vegetable not overbred. Those plants have to survive on their own in the wild.
@3:17 ... and you are less likely to have an anal fissur by not eating lots of American "bread", also called toast. It is technically bread but not that good for your butthole. 🤔
