The Beginnings of St. George Utah and its historic Pioneer Courthouse

The City of St. George started out much differently than other towns in the Southwest because of America's Civil War. One of its first buildings was the "Pioneer Courthouse", which today serves as a museum. Watch this virtual video tour and you'll learn how St. George came into being and how the courthouse played an important role in early life here. Two accompanying videos will go on walking tours of other historical buildings, both commercial and residential, that are just a few blocks away from the courthouse.

I just got done watching all your new St. George videos. We went through there twice over the last few weeks. Always amazed how much it has grown. My favorite Utah city! Excellent! I even looked at new construction slightly south of the main town area a few years ago just to get an idea of what was available, prices, taxes, etc. Cedar City would be choice #2.
