I absolutely LOVE dark solarized. I didn't know many people hated let alone disliked it. I thought everyone preferred more dark-themed versions like Dracula because of darker backgrounds.

Why do people hate solarized. Legit my favourite colour theme ever. But maybe its because blue is also my favourite colour xD.

I stopped following /unixporn a while back. It's mostly just boring desktop images with the same format: some terminal windows, nice theme + cool wallpaper. I would MUCH rather prefer watching an actual linux power user powering through actual dev work, flying through vim/tmux/awk/etc. Now THAT would be motivating and cool to watch. Sadly I've only found a handful of these on youtube.
