Minder 80s TV 1984 SE4 EP5 - The Car Lot Baggers

Minder 80s tv programme starring George Cole & Dennis Waterman.
A group of gypsies are suspected of intimidating a car-dealer friend of Arthur's but they come to Terry's rescue when the real villains turn out to be supposedly respectable businessmen. Arthur is pursued by a merry widow 'Tilly', to whose funeral parlour he hopes to sell hearses.

There were so many wonderful characters in the these programmes. Wonderful scripts and comedy actors who knew their craft. Why can't we seem to produce such quality nowadays?

The background to today show is west London, Grenfell Tower makes an appearance, but this show was filmed decades before the inferno. Under neath westway flyover is a heritage now. Great episode again, thanks for the upload.

Britain was really on a roll back in the eighties television wise, Minder, Only Fools and Horses and Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Holmes, not to mention the Two Ronnies.
